Expeditions

Wandering through the bush

I am a big fan of carrying lightweight camping equipment and exploring some of Tanzania’s more remote areas. Kitulo Plateau, the Maasai Steppe and Malagarasi to name just a few. With expeditions you often have objectives such as reaching Lake Tanganyika via the vast Malagarasi wetlands or following in Stanley’s footsteps from Bagamoyo on the coast, through central Tanzania to Ujiji in western Tanzania.

This is really just an experience for the initiated and well-travelled person who wants to learn about very different and less well known areas of Tanzania.
