I define a classic photographic safari as a story, and to understand the end, you have to start in the beginning. This means that planning and seasonality are essential to getting the most from your experience. There is nothing more important when planning a safari than the time of year, what in October is a dry semi-desert can be a flowering meadow in February, what is dry and warm in September can be wet and cold in March.

A classic safari will usually involve two or three very different locations, be mainly in a vehicle and using a combination of tented camps and small lodges. Walking can be an integral part and based on your interests, be it photography, flowers or birds vary in the areas you visit.

I spend a lot of time, either when in the US or Europe on marketing trips, or by email getting to know what you want which allows me to build your story. Be it with 10 year children or 90 year old grandparents a safari is always different, great fun and leaves you with fantastic memories, which is exactly how I like it!!
